Coke Dubbing-Aamir Khan

Well,the year started with when Aamir khan stuck in Delhi when he was shooting or Rang de basanti,and at the same time he had to dub for a coke commercial (The Mannu Bhabhi campaign by Prasoon Joshi).So our studio was hired and the coke commercial dubbing was done in an 8 hour stretch with the director and prasoon.It was fun,...got to see how our own Indian actors dubbed the double role,since Aamir had to dub as himself and also as mannu bhabhi.Good Experience.

Guru-Dubbing for Film

Mani Ratnam directed film Guru,was in the last stages of final production when the studio got the project for dubbing a 10 minutes sequence by Roshan seth. The dubbing session lasted for 8 hours. We were given the film on Beta and we dumped the same on to Pro Tools for production  purposes.

Dubbing for documentary for Orissa -

Acclaimed Welsh actor John Rhys-Davies graduated from the University of East Anglia and is probably best known to film audiences for his roles in the blockbuster hits Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). He has also had leading roles in Victor/Victoria (1982), The Living Daylights (1987) and King Solomon's Mines (1985).Lord of the Rings (Gimmily-2004),came to our studio for dubbing a documentary produced by his friend Amanda. We were also surprised but the project went on smoothly. The project hardly lasted 7 days with the actor dubbing for one day

Dubbing for Hollywood,Project “Battle Star Gallactica”,

This was an exciting project.The director was sitting in LA Hollywood and was monitoring the session via phone,listening to every take on phone.At that we didn't have broadline famous in India,so the only option was to listen on the phone.It was an 8 hour project and James challis,kept on giving his repeated  performances on the phone and the recording on protools with the film sync,the recorded pro tools session was then sent across to Los Angeles ,where they utilized the session of dubbing. Kshitij Studios has a credit in the DVD for the same

UK ,Project Documentary on "Indian Elephants”

Taking the Internet usage to it's limits in live monitoring, we used Skype software this time for the Director sitting in United Kingdom listening to each and every take given by Mr Roshan Seth. The director could talk to Roshan directly and he could listen to Roshan clearly for the dubbing process to carry on.It was very interesting as no delay happened and the project was finished very smoothly

Black Friday-Pre-sequencing Background Score -

Indian ocean was given the mammoth task to score the original background score for the 3 hour film by Anurag Kashyab,produced by Mid Day and Jhammu Sikand. The film was based on the 1992 Bombay blasts. The band sequenced the background score through vocals and other live and sample instruments for the film, for which we also used some pre-sequenced grooves ,also used were various vst instruments like absynth e.t.c.Both PC and Mac were running in tandem.On PC we were running most of the VST instruments and on mac,Protools ran with film in sync, recording all the live tracks, together with the dialogues. The studio was hired nearly for a month and a half with Anurag visiting the studio occasionally for checking up on activities. The final recording and mixing was done in Mumbai where further work and a Band song was being recorded.

Shunaya-Song production for a upcoming Hindi feature film

Indian Ocean is yet again given a film to score one ten minute song.The song is recorded through using only live instruments including live drums for the session. The studio equipped itself with new Preamps for the drum kit and other live instruments. The final mix has gone to UK for mastering.

Fiction Film on Nithari murders in Noida for Aaj Tak

The new studio in Okhla Industrial Area was given the post production responsibilities for the 30 minutes fictional film based on the actual incidents of the Nithari village in Delhi NCR region. The film was all ready shot by Aaj Tak producer Mr Nazim,the studio post produced the whole story. Three studio were continuously working for 5 days 24 x 7 .In one studio the music tracks were being recorded, in another the sound design was being done and in yet another video post production facility was being utilized for editing and finalizing the video. The format was DV  ,while the dump of the 15 DV tapes were being done in one studio, in the other studio the edit had already begun, thus complementing the use of the multiple setups at one particular place.

Sahi Bol-Marketing and production of electronic media marketing for HT I Love Delhi Campaign

Well,we didn't intentionally wanted to be record company,but when we actually got down to it Kshitij Studiois signed more than 12 artists for a music album compilation.We were then busy in making various media plans including event and print ds.Check out the film we shot for 4 days on Delhi,took interviews and compiled the whole Idea.Also Check out www.Sahibol.com
